Founding Story
Why JMJ Neuro Systems Exists
JMJ Neuro Systems was founded inside JMJ Consultants Inc. after more than a decade of federal advisory work made one pattern unmistakable: agencies responsible for warfighter, astronaut, and clinician readiness were being offered pharmaceutical or consumer-grade wellness products dressed up as performance science — with no measurable, reproducible neurophysiological evidence behind them.
We built the company to close that gap: a federally registered, SBA 8(a) certified research entity dedicated to non-invasive, instrumented, peer-review-defensible interventions — designed from day one for IRB oversight, CUI handling, and direct transition into DoD, NASA, NIH and VA programs.
Every protocol we publish, every dataset we generate, and every partnership we accept is held to a single test: would a contracting officer, an IRB, and a peer reviewer all sign off on the same page of evidence? If not, we don't ship it.

We design study cohorts, measurement protocols, and analysis pipelines to be representative across sex, age, ethnicity, and operational role — because neurophysiological evidence that excludes who actually serves cannot be deployed where it is needed.
We adhere to NIH inclusion guidance for sex/gender and racial/ethnic minorities in clinical research, the DoD Force Health Protection equity directives, and the federal Justice40 framework where applicable. Recruitment, instrumentation, and biomarker normalization are reviewed under IRB protocol for differential validity.
